Caitlyn (Pole & Pilates) is a recovering ballerina who loves pretty much anything sparkly. She is, she thinks, the blondest Asian pole dancer around, and she specializes in the art of the hair toss. When she started her pole journey 4 years ago, she never would have imagined her first tentative spin around the pole would lead to a fulfilling & fun career teaching and performing pole dance around New York City.
Caitlin is a comprehensively certified classical Pilates instructor and teacher trainer at Alycea Ungaro's Real Pilates NYC, and also holds her 200-hour YTT vinyasa yoga certification. With her knowledge and experience in dance, movement, and healing, Caitlin teaches pole in a safe, fun, and effective way to bodies of all ages, shapes, and abilities. She truly enjoys teaching women who share her passion for pole fitness, and she is thrilled to be part of the team at Shockrz!
Caitlin is a regular performer in the NYC comedy and pole dancing show, Schtick-a-Pole-in-It, and has also made appearances in Poling-for-Pets, in Flight Club's Winter Showcase, in AERA's pole show "Le Gente," and on "Law & Order: SVU."
